The CAT3603 is a LED driver that can work in either 1x (LDO) mode or 1 mode. 5x fractional mo de regulating current through each of the 3 LED pins.
Operation at a frequency of 1 MHz means that capacitors can be made very small.
The CAT3603 drives three white LEDs in parallel and provides a tightly matched regulated current to achieve uniform brightness in LCD backlighting applications.
The resistor, RSET, controls how much current flows from the circuit. The device can deliver up to 30mA over an input voltage supply.
